1. Who we are
Chore Champion (the "Service") is operated by Chore Champion ("we", "us", "our"). By using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms.
2. Acceptance
By creating an account or continuing to use the Service, you accept these Terms in full.
3. Acceptable use
You must not misuse the Service. In particular you may not:
- use the Service for any unlawful purpose;
- commit fraud, send spam, or harass other users;
- infringe anyone's intellectual property rights;
- interfere with the Service, probe for vulnerabilities, scrape data, or upload malware.
4. Intellectual property
All software, branding, and documentation that make up the Service remain the property of Chore Champion. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service within the plan you've selected.
5. Service level
We work hard to keep the Service running smoothly, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free performance.
6. Payment and subscription terms
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payment, billing, taxes, renewals, cancellations and refunds are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled.
7. Free trial
New paid plans include a 14-day free trial. You may cancel at any time during the trial to avoid being charged. After the trial, the plan you selected will start.
8. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your access for material breach of these Terms, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated policy violations. You may cancel your subscription at any time; access continues until the end of the current billing period.
9. Warranties and liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim all implied warranties. Our aggregate liability is capped at the fees you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim. We exclude liability for indirect or consequential damages. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, death, or personal injury where law forbids such limitation.
10. Children's content
Chore Champion is designed to be used by families. A parent or guardian must create the account and is responsible for supervising any child profiles they invite to the Service, including any photo uploads.
11. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
